How Much Hair Do I Need?

The lab needs approximately 1 teaspoon of hair, 1-2" in length and cut closest to the scalp without drawing blood. We provide a easy to use cardboard scale to weigh the hair specimen. 

The best spot to collect hair tissue is the back of the head.  It is also best to let dyed and treated hair to grow out and only collect the untreated hair.

How Long Will It Take To Get Test Results?

We expect test results back from the lab within 7-14 business days, once we receive and send your hair specimen to the lab.  We email your password protected lab report to you shortly after we receive and review your report.
